Mewsferatu has been quietly in development since last year. I even registered mewsferatu.com before life (and a hundred other projects) pulled me in different directions. But he’s finally here — and this is his official launch.
 
This is a handmade prototype figure, standing approximately 6 inches tall. His head turns gently from side to side. Magnets are embedded beneath his feet so he can stand securely on metal surfaces, and he also comes with a matching magnetic base for display.
 
Who is Mewsferatu?
Mewsferatu is a vampire-cat who, unlike other cats, is aging — and he has no idea why. He remembers too much, thinks too much, and writes like someone trying to make sense of his own slow transformation. He’s sharp, slightly dramatic, observant, and quietly bothered by the fact that time seems to be catching him. That tension is part of who he is.
 
Every piece is carefully finished by hand. Because this is a prototype release, only a very limited number are available. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
 
I’m incredibly proud of him. He’s been a long time coming.
